Corvette will remain on the same program in 2017

What about your relationship with Larbre Compétition, which enters a C7R in WEC, in the GTE Am category?

It is important for many reasons. First of all, it gives Corvette global coverage, since the team takes part in the WEC. This is an excellent thing. Secondly, we learn things when Jack (Leconte, the director of the Viennese team) learns, especially when he encounters problems. We are in constant communication, as if we were working under the same roof.

Have you ever thought about entrusting a car to be entered in GTE Pro to Larbre Compétition?

We would be able to provide him with a car. At finding partners and leading a competent and profitable racing team, Jack is one of the best in the world. For him, it’s business and he is an outstanding businessman. But I have some doubts about the possibility of raising sufficient funds to launch into GTE Pro.

Is the 2017 program already defined?

We are going to keep the same car and the same program, namely theIMSA and 24 Hours of Le Mans su we receive invitations from the ACO. As for the drivers, we will keep our duos (Jan Magnussen-Antonio Garcia and Oliver Gavin-Tommy Milner). We are banking on continuity, with some of our pilots defending our interests for a good ten years…
