The solution to avoid WEC / Fe clashes?

The reveal of the calendars for the next World Championship campaignsEndurance and Formula E highlighted, last June, the lack of dialogue between the FIA-labeled series. Jean Todt, its president, had also lost his temper when he learned of this unfortunate collision.

Since then, forces have been working behind the scenes to try to limit its effects. Thus, it seems that the Formula E round which was on dotted lines in December against the 8 Hours of Bahrain has simply disappeared. A problem solved.

Conversely, the Chinese round of March 20, 2020 appears to be indestructible in the face of 1000 miles of Sebring.

Finally, the third “incident”, scheduled for the first weekend in May between the 6 Hours of Spa and the Seoul E-Prix, could find a happy outcome. In order not to compete with the sleeve IMSA of Mid-Ohio and possibly with the neighboring Dutch Grand Prix which would requisition stewards, the WEC would be delayed by a week. That would be a wise decision.
