The Toyota GR010 Hybrid appears with its new colors

At Toyota, the year 2024 will be under the sign of black. The Japanese manufacturer has radically changed its liveries in the championships in which it is entered: in WRC with the Yaris GR Rally1, which started the season with a double podium in Rally Monte-Carlo, but also in WEC with the GR010 Hybrid.
This last livery, unveiled digitally last December, was officially presented this Tuesday with real photos of the GR010 Hybrid version 2024. A car dressed all in black, with the initials “GR” (for Gazoo Racing) on the sides of the Japanese Hypercar which stand out in white and red , traditional Toyota colors.

This radical change in livery is above all an opportunity for Toyota to stand out again in the WEC, with the massive arrival of new manufacturers since 2023. Multiple reigning Drivers' and Manufacturers' champions in the championship, the Japanese team has found in this change of livery a new way of communicating and “rejuvenating” its image a little more.
Let us also remember that Toyota will be entered in the WEC for the 13th consecutive season in 2024, with almost unchanged crews: only Nyck de Vries joins the trio of No. 7, alongside Mike conway et Kamui Kobayashi. The No. 8 will always be in the hands of the reigning world champion trio, Sébastien Buemi - Brendon Hartley –Ryo Hirakawa.
