Two teams have filed a complaint with the European Union in order to obtain the opening of an investigation into the management of the F1. These teams believe that the treatment of teams is not carried out on an equal footing, particularly with regard to the absence of the weakest teams within the F1 Strategic Group as well as the distribution of commercial rights.
“Force India is one of two teams to have filed a complaint with the European Union to question the management of F1 and prove that the distribution of revenues and the determination of the rules in the discipline are unfair and illegal”, indicated Vijay Mallya’s team in a press release.
Sauber F1 Team would be the second team to file a complaint with the European Union.
