Toyotas at the party

Rapides ce matin en essais libres, avec le meilleur temps de Timo Glock, les Toyota ont confirmé aujourd?hui en qualifications. Dès Q1, Glock et Trulli démontrent qu?ils sont en grande forme. C?est pourtant Sebastian Vettel who achieved the best time in Q1, then in Q2, with a lap completed in 1:32:474, which is for the moment the fastest lap of the weekend.

Time for strategy in Q3, where the cars evolve with the quantity of fuel loaded tomorrow in the race. From the first moments, Trulli and Glock monopolized the debates. The leader of the World Championship, Jenson Button, is trying to cast doubt on the Toyotas by seizing provisional pole position. Only a short moment since Timo Glock then Jarno Trulli improved. Trulli thus pockets the 4th pole position of his career, the first for Toyota, ahead of his teammate Timo Glock. The Toyotas are celebrating.

Winner in China, Sebastian Vettel confirms by setting the third fastest time. He will share the second row with Jenson Button, then Lewis Hamilton and Rubens Barrichello will make up the third line.

The Ferrari are a little better, with Felipe Massa 8th and Kimi Räikkönen 10th. The results are less glorious for BMW Sauber, with Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld eliminated in Q2. Disappointment also for Mark Webber. Stuck in traffic in Q1, the Australian will start tomorrow from 19th position, just ahead of Sébastien Bourdais, last.
