Red Bull: Max Verstappen vs Sergio Pérez

Last year, the duel between Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez only lasted 4 Grands Prix, when each had 2 victories. Then, the Dutchman gained the upper hand over his garage neighbor who he ended up cracking. The battle quickly turned to the advantage of the Batavian, champion for the 3rd time in his career and with 290 points ahead of his teammate. Will he do it again in 2024?

Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton vs George Russell

Defeated in 2022 by his new young teammate, Lewis Hamilton rectified the situation in 2023. Although he completed a second campaign without a victory, the Englishman gradually warmed up. With 6 podiums under his belt, he even claimed the honorary title of vice-champion, ultimately going to Sergio Pérez. George Russell, for his part, must move forward, he who struggles to stand out throughout the exercise, finishing with only 2 podiums.

Ferrari: Charles Leclerc vs Carlos Sainz

2024 will mark the end of the collaboration between Charles Leclerc et Carlos Sainz, a duo which has often brought satisfaction to the Team. Since the start of their professional relationship in 2021, the two Charles or the two Carlos have pulled out all the stops even if the Monegasque is the one who has most often made an impression, particularly in qualifying where he was able to compete against Max Verstappen. In 2023, however, the Spaniard was the only one to offer Ferrari a victory, and above all to defeat Red Bull. But when it came time to take stock, Charles Leclerc slipped past him in Abu Dhabi to finish ahead of him in the championship, by 6 points. Proof that the two men are very close.

McLaren: Lando Norris vs Oscar Piastri

A real hit from the second part of the season last year, McLaren wants to continue its momentum in 2024 in order to find the path to victory, and above all stability. For this, the Woking team will once again be able to rely on a talented duo formed by Lando Norris et Oscar piastri. In 2023, the first city, enjoying greater experience, logically dominated the Australian rookie, who was able to show very good things. This time, the duel could prove to be closer.

Aston Martin: Fernando Alonso vs Lance Stroll

Standard bearer of the incredible leap forwardAston Martin in 2023, Fernando Alonso left only the crumbs Lance stroll. Despite being in his forties, the double world champion demonstrated that he was still hungry and that he was not going to let himself be destabilized by the boss's son, who has rarely played in the same league as him.

Alpine : Pierre Gasly vs Esteban Ocon

The 2024 season already promises to be complicated for the Blues. So, Pierre Gasly et Esteban Ocon should primarily focus on the internal duel. Very close in pure performance last year, the two Normans could engage in another close battle throughout the year, hoping why not sign some high-level performances...

Williams: Alex Albon vs Logan Sargeant

Without doubt one of the most unbalanced internal battles of the 2023 season. His rookie teammate, Logan sargeant, suffering from adaptation to F1, Alex Albon alone carried the hopes of Williams last year. The Briton even stood out by delivering very good performances and above all allowed his team to leave the bottom of the Manufacturers' ranking to move up to 7th place. This time, Logan Sargeant is expected to raise his level of play even if he starts from too far to hope to beat an experienced driver like Alex Albon.

RB: Yuki Tsunoda vs Daniel Ricciardo

Teammates in the second part of the season in 2023, Yuki tsunoda et Daniel Ricciardo represent the new face of the stable, now called Visa Cash App RB. Playing very big with a view to 2025, the Japanese and the Australian should not do each other any favors on the track.

Sauber: Valtteri Bottas vs Guanyu Zhou

Difficult to decide between the two men, between a Valtteri Bottas whose motivation seems to have been affected last year and a Guanyu-Zhou who still struggles to stand out. After a year of 2023 in alternating current, the Finn and the Chinese want to move forward in order to demonstrate to their bosses that they can count on them for the future with Audi.

Haas: Nico Hülkenberg vs Kevin Magnussen

With very limited equipment and internal restructuring, the year 2024 promises to be difficult for Nico Hulkenberg et Kevin Magnussen. Far from their best level, the German and the Dane must raise their voices if they want to hope to still be on the grid in 2025.
