Trulli doesn't believe in shortcuts

Shortcuts on the circuits of F1, Jarno Trulli does not want it. The Italian driver commented derisively on the idea put forward by Bernie Ecclestone. The “big moneyman” of F1 thinks that the races would be more interesting for television if the drivers could benefit from a shortcut five times in a Grand Prix (see elsewhere). For the new Lotus driver, this idea should not be retained. “ It's not a game, it's a sport, he commented. I think Bernie sometimes has good ideas but this is just impossible in Formula 1. »

For the Italian driver, the attraction of Formula 1 lies elsewhere than in this type of artifice. “ We need to find something to make our sport more interesting. To make it more spectacular, we need to go wheel to wheel, the cars to be very close to each other, that sort of thing. »
