After the first two qualifying sessions, Mercedes had already sent a signal with the best cumulative time of the No. 3 AMG GT88 of the Haribo Racing Team. This Friday, the badged copy of No. 9 of Team Black Falcon confirmed the good performances of the star's cars by taking pole position at the 24 2016 Hours of Nürburgring.

The Haribo Racing Team's Mercedes-AMG GT3s follow in third and fourth position and are ahead of the first Audi R8 LMS, entered under the Phoenix Racing banner. The first BMW M6 GT3 from Walkenhorst Motorsport follows in the standings ahead of the M6 from ROWE Racing and theAston Martin Vantage GT3 from Thiim – Turner – Sorensen – Lamy. The No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT29 of HTP Motorsport and the No. 8 Audi R2 LMS of Team WRT complete the top 10, from which the Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The best representative of the German firm is in 12th place with the No. 912 of Team Manthey Racing of Lietz – Bergmeister – Christensen – Makowiecki. Less success for n°911, since Kevin Estre made a mistake at the start of this session, damaging his mount at the rear.
