ADAC GT Masters – Be Victorious Again

French drivers are on a roll at the moment in ADAC GT Masters. Already a winner in the previous event of the Red Bull Ring in Austria in race 1, Kevin Estre, accompanied by his teammate David Jahn on the Porsche 911 GT3 R of Team75 Bernhard (from the Porsche driver WEC Timo Bernhard), distinguished himself again this Saturday by dominating the first round at the Nürburgring.

The French driver and his teammate defeated the Porsche 911 GT3 R of Martin Ragginger and Robert Renauer (Precote Herberth Motorsport), which had been leading the proceedings until then. Team75 Bernhard recalled David Jahn, author of the first stint, a lap after Renauer, before Kevin Estre took the lead of the race straight away from Martin Ragginger. The hierarchy will no longer change, for a double Porsche in the Eifel.

Team AMG-Zakspeed completes the podium with the Sylvest – Rogivue pair, aligned on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°21. Championship leaders Jules Gounon and Daniel Keilwitz (Corvette C7 – Callaway Competition) finished in fifth position behind the Bentley Continental GT3 of Team Abt from Abt – Pepper. The best Audi R8 LMS finished in sixth position with the Aust Motorsport duo Markus Pommer – Xavier Maassen.

The second race of the weekend will take place tomorrow at the Nürburgring at 13:15 p.m., after qualifying scheduled for 9:15 a.m.
