Alexandre Prémat does not extend his contract with DJR Team Penske

Winner of Bathurst 1000 with Scott McLaughlin and DJR Team Penske this season, Alexandre Prémat will not find the alliance between Dick Johnson and Roger Penske in 2020.

The Frenchman has not extended his lease with the reigning champion team of the Australian series, DJR Team Penske having announced Tim Slade and Tony d'Alberto as teammates in the Enduro Cup for the titular duo Scott McLaughlin – Fabian Coulthard. Slade will replace the French driver position for position alongside the outgoing double champion.

If d'Alberto is no stranger to the structure, having supported Coulthard since 2016 and driven for DJR Team Penske, Tim Slade is coming off four contested campaigns within Brad Jones Racing, following two seasons at Walkinshaw Racing. Slade will therefore discover the Ford Mustang in 2020.

Winner in the Teams ranking after a tough duel with Triple Eight Engineering / Red Bull Holden Racing, DJR Team Penske will logically aim to retain its title in 2020, when Scott McLaughlin will be the big favorite to take over.
