Blancpain: Kessel Racing on pole at Monza

The Kessel Racing Ferrari 458 Italia will start from pole at Monza ahead of the Haribo Racing Porsche 997 GT3 R. The F458 Italia of Black Bull Swiss Racing completes the leading trio.

Blancpain: Kessel Racing on pole at Monza

Daniel Zampieri took pole with the Kessel Racing F458 Italia, going under the 1:48 mark on the Monza circuit (1:47:923). The Italian is two tenths ahead of Porsche 997 GT3R from Haribo Racing which was driven by Richard Westbrook. The Briton is surrounded by another Ferrari with the F458 of Mirko Venturi. The Black Bull Swiss Racing resident misses pole by three tenths.

The top five in qualifying are completed by the Porsche GT3Rs from the SMR Challenge and Prospeed Compétition teams. Olivier Pla was responsible for qualifying the No. 83 in fourth place, finishing five tenths from pole, while Marc Goossens secured fifth place by beating the Vita458One F4 by two tenths. The Audi R8 LMS of Team WRT driven by Ortelli-Mies-Haase is seventh ahead of the Mercedes SLS GT3 from Wauters-Wendlinger-Kumpen (KRK racing). Valentino Rosso and Alessio Salucci took tenth place with the #458 Kessel Racing F46.
