Dörr Motorsport has everything to learn in the FIA GT Series

Dörr Motorsport completes the FIA GT Series Easter Cup grid with two McLaren MP4-12C GT3.

“We have worked very hard to be able to compete in the FIA GT Series”, admitted Team Manager Uwe Isert. “We now have two cars and we will see how the weekend goes. I cannot assess our level at the moment but we will know more after the start of free practice. Our first objective is for our drivers to get used to the car and the track. Our second goal is to finish the Monday race (Championship race) with both McLarens. » Team Principal Rainer Dörr is also aware that the Easter Cups represent more of a start for the team. “After having competed in some superb races on the Nordschleife (at the Nürburgring), we are preparing to race at international level in a new discipline. The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is clearly a fantastic car that has already raced successfully in GT disciplines. We are a young team in the FIA GT Series and we will have a lot to learn. Therefore, we cannot be too ambitious for Nogaro. We don't yet know what our opponents have to offer. »
