FIA GT – EL2: The WRT shows itself before qualifying

At the end of a session which took place without any real incident, the best time this time went to an Audi R8 LMS. With a time of 1:43.228, the Rast/Mayr-Melnhof crew (Belgian Club Team WRT) was 120 thousandths ahead of the Audi n°5 of Phoenix Racing (Winkelhock/Ide) and the McLaren #10 of Sebastien Loeb Racing driven by Mike Parisy and Andreas Zuber (1:43.617).

La BMW E89 Z4 n°0 de Khodair/Bueno (1:43.995) est également passé sous la barre des 1:44 sur un tracé ou l?adhérence va en s?améliorant. Cinquième position pour la Porsche de Tandy/Holzer (Trackspeed n°41) devant les McLaren MP4-12C des équipes françaises Hexis Racing (Estre/Bell) et Sebastien Loeb Racing (Loeb/Parente).

Daniel Keilwitz (Corvette no. 102) was unable to take part in this test session due to excessive damage to his car following the contact he suffered with Edward Sandström?s Audi. The 2013 ADAC GT Masters champion, who teams up with Jeroen Bleekemolen this weekend, hopes to take part in the qualifying session.

A session which will start at 16:40 p.m. local time for a duration of 40 minutes (without the superpole) to compensate for the delay at the start of the day. Despite this, the bonus point awarded to the best crew in each category remains in effect.
