FIA GT1: Hexis targets the Tourist Trophy

The British round of the FIA ​​GT1 World Championship is in no way comparable to the others. Indeed, it serves as a support for the award of the “Tourist Trophy”, very famous across the Channel. Philippe Dumas, the team manager of the Nîmes Hexis AMR team, has made it one of his priorities in 2011, especially since his team is entering British cars.

At the top of both rankings, it is certain that the French are to be taken seriously in the fight for the world crown. Of the four rounds already contested, two have fallen into their hands: Abu Dhabi thanks to Stef Dusseldorp and Clivio Piccione, and the Sachsenring thanks to Andrea Piccini and Christian Hohenadel. On a Silverstone circuit which should suit the Aston Martin DB9, the Hexis AMR team could make sparks shine again this weekend in Great Britain.
