FIA GT1: the reinforcement of Corvette

The FIA GT1 World Championship field will be completed by four Corvettes, bringing the number entered for 2011 to twenty.

After the departure of several teams at the end of the 2010 season, the organizers were concerned with bringing together a starting grid provided this year. And the announcement of four new competitors is very timely. These four Corvettes will be entered under the banner of DKR Engineering and Exim Bank Team China. Mike Hezemans and Nick Catsburg, Eurocup Champion Renault Megane, are among the drivers whose names are circulating.

Under of the regulations, each trademark must being represented by a pair of teams of two people Car. With the withdrawal of the stables Vitaphone Racing and Hegersport, there will therefore no longer be any Maserati MC 12 at the start this season.
