Hexis wants to stay in the title race

The Tourist Trophy did not really meet the expectations of the team of Philippe Dumas and Clément Mateu. This weekend, in Spain, on the Navarra circuit, the Nîmes team will do everything possible to regain first place in the Drivers' championship, and retain the reins of the Teams championship. For this, she will be able to count as usual on her duos Hohenadel-Piccini and Dusseldorp-Piccione, respectively 3rd and 4th in the general classification.

“This weekend in Spain will be my first in Navarra, explains Hohenadel. I hope to bring home big points. The first part of the season was satisfactory, although the Silverstone weekend was disappointing. We have progressed a lot since the opening round in Abu Dhabi, but so have our rivals. The key to our competitiveness is team spirit. I hope we will continue to improve. »

“The circuit is brand new to me, continues Dusseldorp. I watched videos from last year. It will be difficult to learn the layout, but it looks nice. We will see where we stand after the first free practice session. Obviously we are planning to achieve a good result in the championship race, hoping to reduce the gap on the leaders of the general classification. A podium would be welcome. »

Both Aston Martin DB9 n°3 and 4 of the French team will be ones to watch closely this weekend.
