Jean-Baptiste Méla champion ofAlpine Europa Cup 2020

On a circuit used for the first time by theAlpine Europa Cup, the battle for the 2020 coronation turned to the advantage of Jean-Baptiste Méla. The driver from Porto-Vecchio (Corsica) acquired the title in style, by winning Race 1 on Saturday evening.

The Autosport GP team driver beat his garage comrades Éric Traynard and Laurent Hurgon, the latter being the only one who could worry him in this final. This race was marked by Matéo Herrero's violent accident, fortunately not serious for the driver and the track marshals.

In Race 2, Pierre Sancinéna (Racing Technology) wanted to end the campaign on a good note by taking victory ahead of Marc Guillot (Herrero Racing) and Laurent Hurgon.
