Jean-Karl Vernay bounces back in GT Asia with Bentley

After having traveled the Blancpain routes in particular Endurance Series, avec une deuxième place décrochée au championnat Constructeurs par l’équipe M-Sport, Bentley va s’attaquer aux courses asitaiques. C’est l’écurie chinoise Absolute Racing qui alignera une Continental GT3 sur les manches de Shanghai (10-12 octobre) et aussi de Macao (13-16 novembre), avec comme pilote le Français Jean-Karl Vernay.

After starting the season in Japanese Super GT with Dome Racing, Vernay was replaced before the Sugo event last July by his compatriot Frédéric Makowiecki, while remaining within the fold of the Japanese team. But this opportunity allows the driver, who will celebrate his 27th birthday at the end of October, to take part in Bentley's new adventure in Asia. “After victories on two continents this year, developing our GT3 program was the next step. We have been impressed with how Absolute Racing is operating in China, and I am very excited to have them join our growing family.
