Julien Jousse joins GT1 with Mad Croc

Julien Jousse will not have time to be idle this weekend in Portimao. On the recent Algarve circuit, the native of Issambres will have a double program, since he will have to juggle between the seat of the AS Roma car in Superleague Formula and that of the No. 1 Corvette GT11 of Mad Croc Racing in the GT1 World Championship!

The Frenchman will make his debut in competition but already knows the Corvette GT1 having driven it twice during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Julien Jousse will team up with Xavier Maassen, who was also one of his teammates during the double clock tour at Le Mans.

Despite this very busy schedule which will see him drive two very different cars, the 2008 vice-champion of Formula Renault 3.5 Series is optimistic before this meeting. “ I thank Kendy Janclaes (Mad Croc) for her trust. This will be a first for me, and I am delighted to help Xavier and the team for this round of Portimao, confides the French pilot. Jumping from one car to another should not be a problem for me, and in both cases I will do my best to get on the podium! »

Julien Jousse is not the only Frenchman to join Mad Croc at Portimao, since Laurent Cazenave will support Pertti Kuismanen in the other Corvette GT1 during the Portuguese round of the World Championship.
