Paul-Ricard regains his standing

The Castellet circuit has been revitalized and will, this weekend, for the first time in ten years, host an international competition. It is the FIA GT field which will honor the Var circuit, by offering the penultimate round of the championship. The suspense will not be put aside since two crews are currently fighting to win the world title in the discipline. Second at Portimao, Anthony Kumpen and Mike Hezemans (Corvette C6.R Pekaracing) came back alongside Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini (Maserati MC 12 Vitaphone). Dominators in the Algarve, the Corvettes will this time be weighted to rebalance performance. The Maseratis should therefore regain their competitiveness in the Var.

On the French side, in addition to the usual presence of James Ruffier (Corvette SRT), Emmanuel Collard (Porsche 997 Prospeed), Olivier Panis and Ange Barde will complete the GT1 field at the wheel of a Ferrari 550 Maranello. Olivier Panis will also be there in FFSAGT, who will also perform at Paul-Ricard for his penultimate round of the season. The Grenoblois will team up with Olivier Debard to help the Albigenses win the title in the discipline. In addition, the FIA GT3 and the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo will complete a very rich weekend for GT enthusiasts.
