Porsche Carrera Cup France: Andlauer wins at Zandvoort

The Porsche Junior Program driver thus becomes the leader of the general classification, thanks to two perfectly controlled races. On Saturday, Julien Andlauer transformed pole position into success without having to scrape too much. “I had a very, very good car, well balanced. I just had to get a good start and get into the right cruising speed at the start of the race. Then, it went as smoothly as possible, even if the Safety Car brought everyone closer together before the finish”, explained the 18-year-old pilot.

As in Belgium for the opening of the season, Alessio Rovera (Tsunami RT) and Valentin Hasse-Clot (Sébastien Loeb Racing) accompanied him on the podium. On Sunday, it was the Turk's turn  Ayhancan Guyen to put pressure on the tricolor. The two Porsche 911s touched each other several times, but the 2017 Carrera Cup France champion held on to take the checkered flag first.

Winner at Spa, Valentin Hasse-Clot was sent to the gravel trap in Race 2 while he was in contention for the podium.
