Sébastien Loeb Racing arrives in Porsche Supercup

After'ELMS, 24 Hours of Le Mans, le Championnat de France GT et la Porsche Carrera Cup France, le Sébastien Loeb Racing is expanding its scope of activity even further by starting a Porsche Supercup program with a five-round program this year. “This is a logical step in our international development”, confides the co-founder of the team Dominique Heintz. “We have raced in GT and Protos at European level, so it made sense to explore new playing fields in the Porsche Cup. This is a first mark before considering a full-time presence in 2015. This is our wish, but the level is so high that we must take the time to properly build this program in the Supercup. We will gradually build up strength, allow different drivers to ride, and everyone will be able to gain valuable experience. We are going to measure ourselves against the best with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. We know that we will have to be patient and we are humbled by the task ahead. »

The nine-time world champion's team will begin this weekend in Barcelona by signing Roland Bervillé and Roar Lindland. The Sébastien Loeb Racing Porsche 911 GT3s will return to Monaco (May 23-25), Hockenheim (Germany, July 18-20), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium, August 22-24) and Sochi (in Russia, October 10-12). Maxime Jousse will notably accompany Roar Lindland in the Principality. “This is an excellent opportunity and I am delighted to share this experience with the team” comments the 22-year-old Frenchman. “I am going to take a new step, after my first season in France or participation in the Porsche International Cup Scholarship Program. Driving in Monaco is a dream and even more an exciting challenge! I will go there without pressure, to learn and with a lot of humility, but I am a competitor. So I want to show myself and gain as much experience as possible, the Supercup being one of my medium-term goals. »
