Toyota with a crossover at the 24 hours of the Nürburgring

Toyota alignera trois voitures différentes à la 44e édition des 24 Heures du Nürburgring disputée les 28 et 29 mai afin de célébrer ses dix ans de participation à l’épreuve allemande.

The Japanese manufacturer will notably enter a C-HR Racing which will stand out in the pack since it is a crossover. The first drivers confirmed on this vehicle are Masahiko Kageyama and Kumi Sato.

The Lexus RC will be back after a first participation in 2015. Takayuki Kinoshita and Naoya Gamou are the first official on this car. The RC F version will also be there with Takuto Iguchi and Takamitsu Matsui at the wheel.

“I remember like it was yesterday the first time Gazoo Racing took on the Nürburgring with an Altezza (in 2007)”, remembers Akio Toyoda, the representative of the Japanese team. “So many images come to mind: these roads whose characteristics seem to change with the weather, the very strong friendly relations… But one thing does not change: the circuit is still as relentless and the race as fierce. »
