Dick Johnson Racing has chosen to present the new livery of its Ford Falcons at Queensland's Lakeside circuit, one week before the start of official V8 Supercars testing at Sydney Motorsport Park. After a disappointing season where Dick Johnson's team only finished 13th in the Championship, the team revised its roster with the arrival of rookie Scott Pye and former Brad Jones Racing resident David Wall.
“I didn’t think I’d see our cars driving around Lakeside”, commented the founder of the eponymous team. “But I can tell you that this circuit holds your attention. It's a good thing for the drivers to come here to get their bearings with the car. The driving time has become so important that Scott and David are already very focused here even if we are not racing because they are already preparing for the next weekend in Sydney. The whole team is ready to go on the attack again. »
