V8 Supercars – Nissan presents its optimized Altima

The 2013 season did not smile on the Nissan Altima since the two residents of the Norton Hornets, James Moffat and Michael Caruso, took respectively 17th and 23rd place in the Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has therefore made changes to its model with a new aerodynamic package, including a new rear wing. These changes were made following a new series of aero tests carried out during the winter break.

The two residents of the Norton Hornets have reason to remain positive since they achieved a superb double during the first race contested at Winton with the victory of James Moffat. “We had some great times and some tough times last year, but we have turned the page”, assures James Moffat. “Motorsport requires results, but this is even more the case for Nissan Motorsport this year. In this business, nothing speaks louder than results and what we are going to aim for this season.
