Craig Lowndes will support Jamie Whincup in the Enduro Cup

After announcing that he no longer wanted to drive full-time from 2019, Craig Lowndes will ultimately be well underway in supercars this year, supporting his teammate Jamie Whincup in all three Enduro Cup races, the Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600 and Sandown 500.

The confirmation was made this Sunday on the sidelines of the presentation of the livery of the Holden Commodore from the Roland Dane team at the Dalby Aerodrome in Queensland.

The two men have a combined 11 victories at the Bathurst 1000, which logically places them among the big favorites for the flagship event of the championship. Ahead of the 2019 Supercars season, Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup will be reunited on a Mercedes-AMG GT3 to try to win the Bathurst 12 Hours, first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
