Ferrari Competizioni GT strengthens its armada for the 2020 season with the confirmation of Daniel Serra and Nicklas Nielsen within the program with which Maranello shines in GTE/GTLM and GT3 events around the world.
The Brazilian Serra, just crowned for the third time in Stock Car in his country, is coming off a successful 2019 campaign in GT, with victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE Pro with the Ferrari 488 – AF Corse shared with James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
A success which undoubtedly weighed in the choice of Ferrari, as the Brazilian showed himself to be constant and fast in Sarthe. Serra also won at Petit Le Mans in IMSA with Risi Competizione in 2018.
Nicklas Nielsen, for his part, constitutes the next generation in the Italian clan. After beginnings in car in German F4, it was in Ferrari Challenge that the Dane shined in 2017 before winning the European series and the world finals in 2018. This year, Nielsen shone in ELMS, within Luzich Racing, winning the GTE title with Fabien Lavergne.

Nielsen is also evolving in the 2019-2020 campaign of WEC in GTE Am, on the Ferrari 488 – AF Corse shared with François Perrodo and Emmanuel Collard. The schedule for both drivers remains to be confirmed for 2020, but major GTE/GT3 events should be on the menu.
