Audi Motorsport will change directors from December 1 with the appointment of Julius Seebach, already general manager, who will replace Dieter Gass.

Dieter Gass steps down as head of Audi Motorsport

From engineer to director, Dieter gas has experienced most of the ranks withinAudi Sport. The German will, however, leave his position on December 1, and will be replaced by the general manager of the Neuburg Motorsport entity, Juluis Seebach.

Gass avait début en tant qu’ingénieur course chez Audi entre 1994 et 2001, et était ensuite passé chez Toyota and Lotus in F1 between 2001 and 2012. Returning that same year to the firm with the rings, Gass had worked at the head of competition entries, under the leadership of Doctor Wolfgang Ullrich.

Among its main feats of arms, the successes in DTM, including this year with René Rast, or the numerous victories in GT (24 Hours of Spa, Nürburgring, Intercontinental GT Challenge, FIA GT World Cup, etc.).

In 2017, Gass succeeded Doctor Ullrich and presided over the destiny of Audi Motorsport, with official commitments and customer competition now brought together under the Audi Sport GmbH banner.
