Miguel Molina (Audi) became the first Spaniard to win in DTM by winning Race 2 at the Nürburgring where he started from pole. The Hispanic driver retained the advantage of his position on the grid to win with a lead of more than seven seconds over Paul di Resta (Mercedes) who passed the M4 DTM of Tom Blomqvist on lap nine.
The podium is completed by Bruno spengler (BMW) who also found the opening on the Briton who finished in front pascal wehrlein (Mercedes). The German has had an excellent operation in the Championship since his direct opponents have not scored any points.
Mattias Elström (Audi) managed to enter the top ten before being taken over by Daniel Juncadella (Mercedes), while Edward Mortara (Audi) gave up. pascal wehrlein thus has a 37-point lead before the last meeting of the season held on October 17 and 18 in Hockenheim (Germany).
Max Martin (BMW), the winner of Race 1, took 13th place behind Adrian Tambay (Hear).
