DTM-C2: First victory for René Rast

Starting from pole position, the German driver kept the advantage at the start while Nico Müller (Audi) took the lead over Marco Wittmann (BMW) to gain second position. At the end of the obligatory pit stops, it was Mattias Ekström (Audi) who was in the lead ahead of René Rast and Maxime Martin (BMW) who had stopped on the first lap, thus progressing by 15 places since he He was launched last.

Five minutes from the end of the race, Rast took the advantage over Ekström without the positions changing for the podium. Nico Müller finished 4the ahead of Jamie Green (Audi). The winner of the day before, Paul Di Resta was the best driver Mercedes of the day with a sixth place. Timo Glock (BMW) finished 7e in front of the silver arrows of Robert Wickens and Gary Paffett.

Mike Rockenfeller (Audi) completed the top 10. Loïc duval (Audi) finished 16e while Lucas Auer (Mercedes) was forced to retire, which gave Rast the championship lead by one point.
