DTM – Mercedes wants to bounce back in Russia

At the beginning of August, the DTM made headlines following a second race on the Red Bull Austrian ring marked with the passing of arms between Timo Scheider's Audi and the two drivers Mercedes, Pascal Wehrlein and Robert Wickens, and the controversy that followed.

After the summer break of almost a month and after two unsuccessful rounds, Mercedes now aims to bounce back on the Russian track of Moscow Raceway, a track which did not smile on it last year. But optimism seems to be in order in the Stuttgart clan. On the ART Grand Prix side, Gary Paffett, second in the second race in Austria, hopes to continue his momentum, and praises the work carried out by the French team, which is debuting in DTM this year.

“The pace of the Mercedes, and especially of my car, over the last few weekends has been very good and very encouraging,
explains the Briton. For the second half of the season, I will definitely try to get more podiums and climb the last step, after finishing second or third several times. We also need to strengthen the experience of ART. It's a new team, but they're doing a really good job. »
