DTM – “Rocky” will play at home

After the first race in the history of DTM in Russia, the famous German Touring Championship returns to its lands for the seventh event of the year, to tackle a great classic of the calendar: the Nürburgring. A very popular event, which attracts crowds every year. Enough to offer an additional reason for all those involved in the discipline to shine.

But if there is one who has all the reasons to do well on the Eifel, it is Mike Rockenfeller. Author of his second victory of the season in Moscow in his Audi RS 5 DTM, the driver now leads the championship and is 27 points ahead of Bruno Spengler, winner last year. Furthermore, the Nürbur' is truly a home event for the man nicknamed "Rocky", since he grew up 1h30 from the circuit. “The Nürburgring is the home race for my team (Audi Sport Team Phoenix, editor's note) and for me it is something like the highlight of our season, he expresses. Of course, I hope that the car, the settings and the strategy will work perfectly again like it did when we won in Russia. »
