A few weeks after his first podium on the Zolder circuit, Alexander albon (AF Corse) won its first victory this Sunday in DTM. The Thai beat Daniel Juncadella (Team Gruppem Racing) and Marco Wittmann (Walkenhorst Motorsport) in a race where he was never really bothered.
In the peloton, the race was more chaotic. Note a collision on the second lap between Maximilian Buhk and Lucas Auer, sending the German driver into the pit wall. Two other big names also found themselves on the mat: Liam Lawson and championship leader Kelvin van der Linde.

In the drivers' championship, Kelvin van der Linde retains the lead in the standings after the German meeting with 129 points ahead of Maximilian Götz with 96 points and Marco Wittmann with 94 points. Albon meanwhile climbs to 4th place with a total of 82 points.
The next meeting is scheduled for in two weeks on the circuit of Red Bull ring.
