Audi retains its drivers for 2019

Audi will start again in 2019 with the same drivers as this year. If several competitors found themselves without a steering wheel following the withdrawal of Mercedes, the builder of the Rings will line up again Loïc duval, Robin Frijns, Jamie Green, Nico Müller, René Rast and Mike Rockenfeller.

“There will be many exciting innovations in DTM next year. The increase in power will certainly be the most important, confirmed Dieter Gass, director of Audi Motorsport. The first tests have confirmed that the Class Ones will highlight the performance of the drivers even more. We already had a very successful line-up in 2018 and I believe they will be the right group for Audi as they all have the potential to challenge for the title and they all showed team spirit. »

Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline will be entered with Robin Frijns and Nico Müller. Team Phoenix will evolve with Loïc Duval and Mike Rockenfeller. Team Rosberg will be defended by René Rast and Jamie Green. Team WRT will enter two additional RS 5 DTMs whose drivers will be announced soon.
