The manufacturer at Les Anneaux has notably reworked the sides of the RS 5 DTM which also has a new wing with two fins in order to improve the effectiveness of the DRS. The suspensions have also been revised to comply with the new regulations. The power of the 8l V4 has been increased to more than 500hp.

“We have developed for the first time a new DTM in parallel with our production model, commented Audi Motorsport Director Dieter Gass. This further shows how closely motorsport and production work are linked at Audi. »

Audi has scored ten victories in each of the last two DTM seasons. The brand with the Rings won the Teams and Manufacturers titles last year.
