The Anneaux firm is definitely the reference brand in DTM this summer. Indeed, Audi won its fifth round of the 2020 season in as many races contested this year!
One would have thought polesitter Nico Müller was well on his way to winning at the Lausitzring. The Swiss led the first half of the race on a wet road, before Robin Frijns took advantage of a premature pit stop by overtaking him.
The Dutchman thought he would finally have his first victory in the German touring championship, but that was without the return of René Rast in the final quarter of an hour. The double champion found the opening thanks to tires in better condition seven minutes from the end.

The order was no longer going to evolve. BMW consoles itself with the fifth place of Marco Wittmann, behind an astonishing Timo Glock (BMW), author of beautiful overtakings from 16th and last place! French Loïc duval, who started ninth, moved up to seventh place. Robert Kubica (BMW) brings up the rear.
