Already crowned since the previous round at the Nürburgring, at the Nürburgring, René Rast (Audi) was not satisfied during the first race contested this Saturday at the Hockenheim final.
He went solo to score a seventh victory this season, crossing the finish line ahead of Marco Wittmann (BMW) and Mike Rockenfeller (Audi), the same Top 3 as in qualifying.
Loïc duval (Audi) finished 5th. On the Honda NSX of the Super GT, Jenson Button ranks 9th after several battles in the regular entry platoon:

Tsugio Matsuda (Nissan) 18th, while Ryo Hirakawa (Lexus) was unable to start after a problem in the formation lap.
