New season and new face for the DTM. The German touring car championship will begin this weekend in the temple of Hockenheim, with a meeting format revised and corrected for this campaign. Two races will now be on the menu at each meeting, with a mandatory tire change for the Sunday round.
2015 will also be an opportunity to admire the beginnings in the discipline of the French team ART Grand Prix, who will defend the colors of Mercedes with two AMG C-Coupes entrusted to the British Gary Paffett, 2005 DTM champion, and the Austrian lucas auer, nephew of the former pilot F1 Gerhard Berger, and former resident in 2014 of the European Championship of F3.
“Gary was almost obvious to me. We have known each other for fifteen years, explains Frédéric Vasseur, boss of the Burgundian team. He has a lot of DTM experience and constitutes real added value for a team just starting out. We rely heavily on him for his technical feedback, but also for the life of the team. » The first laps of ART Grand Prix and the other teams at Hockenheim will take place this Friday.
