DTM – Bruno Spengler returns to Oschersleben

After winning at the Lausitzring and the Nürburgring, Bruno Spengler took his third victory of the season at Oschersleben after starting from pole. The Canadian resisted the return of Gary Paffett who was making strides back into first place, ultimately falling less than a second behind the BMW M3 DTM. The winner is 12 points behind the Championship leader, second in the race after starting alongside the winner. Jamie Green drops to third position despite his last place on the podium.

Les BMW M3 DTM de Dirk Werner et Augusto Farfus complètent le top cinq devant Mike Rockenfeller, premier pilote Audi. Le constructeur aux anneaux connaît un week-end difficile. Après s’être fait battre par Toyota Asked 6 Hours of Sao Paulo in the Championship WEC, the Ingolstadt brand does not place any A5 DTM in the top five. Edoardo Mortara, spearhead of the Audi drivers who occupied fourth place in the Championship before the Oschersleben race, retired in the first laps. Adrien Tambay had a difficult ordeal and had to settle for 16th place. The DTM will resume its rights at the end of the month with the Valencia event, the penultimate race of the season before the final contested at Hockenheim.
