DTM-C1: Jamie Green keeps the advantage at Hockenheim

Jamie Green (Audi) wins the first race of the weekend and the season of the DTM at Hockenheim lasting 40 minutes, at the end of a masterfully mastered event after starting from pole. The Briton quickly built his lead over Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes) joined on the podium by Paul di Resta (Mercedes) and retained his leading position despite two interruptions.

Edoardo Mortara (Audi) had to settle for 4th place after losing to the former Force India rider. The Italian narrowly retained the advantage over Mike Rockenfeller who placed a 3rd RS 5 DTM in the top five. Maxime Martin took the first BMW to 7th place behind Nico Müller (Audi) ahead of his teammates Timo Glock, Marco Wittmann, Augusto Farfus and Bruno Spengler.

Adrien Tambay (Audi) fell in the standings to finish in 15th place ahead of rookie Maximilian Götz (Mercedes). The start of ART GP was difficult as Lucas Auer and Gary Paffett both retired in a pile-up.

Race 2 of the DTM will be contested this Sunday, May 3 from 13:40 p.m. and will be followed live streaming on AUTOhebdo.fr.
