DTM-C1: Jamie Green returns to victory at the Lausitzring
Jamie green signs his second victory in 4 races by winning in Race 1 of the DTM at the Lausitzring (Germany). The Briton took the advantage over the pole sitter Miguel Molina at the end of the race despite problems with his DRS and took control of the Championship.
The Spaniard was only able to save a 4th place by giving way in quick succession to Edoardo Mortara and Mattias Ekström, but the Hispanic driver still completes a quadruple for Audi. pascal wehrlein narrowly secured a top five for Mercedes being followed by the AMG C Coupé of Robert Wickenas Max Martin was the best BMW driver, finishing in 7th place.
After starting at the back of the grid following engine repairs, Adrian Tambay (Audi) moved up to 16th position.
