  • The race progressed without much difficulty throughout the first stint and Perera retained the lead after the pit stops.

  • The fight in Top 5 was intense and beautiful between René Rast (BMW M4) of Schubert Motorsport and his former teammate at Abt, Ricardo Feller. The Swiss manages to find the opening a few laps from the checkerboard, the two men complete the top 5.

  • Sheldon van der Linde's complicated weekend is confirmed with the 2022 champion's retirement following a surprisingly messy pit stop for Schubert Motorsport.

  • There is still one qualification and one race to go this Sunday. See you tomorrow at 09:30 a.m. for qualifying and at 13:30 p.m. for Race 2.
