DTM - Gary Paffett wants to return to the podium

Absent from the Top 3 for two races, the current championship leader intends to put an end to this series at the next round of the DTM season, which will take place this weekend on the Zandvoort circuit, in the Netherlands.

DTM – Gary Paffett wants to return to the podium

After a start to the season with great fanfare, the pilot Mercedes experienced a slight drop in performance during the last two events to date. Fourth at the Norisring then sixth at the Nürburgring, Gary Paffett is only 20 points ahead of Bruno Spengler, while he had created a cushion of 36 points over the second after the fourth round of the year on the Red Bull ring.

« Zandvoort is one of my favorite circuits in DTM, explains the Briton. I have already won three times there and I love riding on this track between the dunes. The track is a nice mix of fast and slow turns. This variety offers a lot of fun for drivers, and I'm really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel a week after the Nürburgring. I hope I can take advantage of my good results on this track to finish in the Top 3 again after missing the podium in the last two races. »
