DTM – Nico Müller, Audi’s new foal

Filipe Albuquerque now focused on the program Endurance of Audi, the Ingolstadt manufacturer has chosen Nico Müller to replace him in its workforce in DTM. The 21-year-old Swiss is a pure product of car which has had a fairly classic trajectory. After training with the Formula Renault 2.0, the Swiss driver went through the GP3 Series where he stayed for two seasons with Jenzer Motorsport, notably winning three victories and third place in the Championship in 2010 when he was only a rookie.

“I followed discipline even when I was a child”, comments the new Audi recruit. “As soon as I tested a DTM car for the first time, maybe even before, I dreamed of an opportunity to compete in a race with such a car. DTM has some of the most professional and popular drivers in the world and the discipline is on almost every competitor's list. This is why it is a great honor for me that Audi trusts me and places me in an RS 5 DTM. »
