On the track with the BMW M4 DTM

BMW made its return to the major German touring championship in 2012 with the Drivers' (for Bruno Spengler) and Manufacturers' titles, won with the M3. In 2014, the latter gave way to the all-new M4 which allowed the German Mark Wittman to win his first coronation in the discipline after a superb season punctuated by four successes and with fifty points ahead of his closest pursuer, the Swedish Audi driver Mattias Ekström.

On the Monteblanco track near Seville, Spain, where the car made its track debut last February, Self was able to test this thoroughbred powered by a 8 hp naturally aspirated 4,0-liter V480, weighing 1050 kg empty, and equipped with a movable rear wing…
