Fittipaldi will replace Green at Misano

Pietro Fittipaldi will finally be present this weekend in Misano (Italy) for the third round of the season. DTM. Emerson's grandson will replace Jamie Green in an Audi Sport Team Rosberg RS 5. The 36-year-old Briton suffers from appendicitis.

Pietro Fittipaldi was initially due to go to Montreal where the Canadian GP will be contested this weekend, the 22-year-old Brazilian being a reserve at Haas F1 team.

“For us, Pietro represents the best solution, added Dieter Gass. He knows the car well and showed good performances during the first two rounds of the DTM. »

Pietro Fittipaldi has already won points twice by setting the new lap record at Hockenheim. Jamie Green occupies 7th place in the Championship, 34 points behind leader Philipp Eng (BMW).
