Jarvis takes the lead

Luck finally seems to smile on Alexandre Prémat, who has been varnished since the start of the season DTM with Audi. The French driver, although he did not manage to reach the last round of qualifying (Q4), ranks in a very good sixth place, behind the Mercedes by Paul di Resta., failing only a thousandth behind the Briton. After a few weeks of struggle, Prémat can consider a race more in line with his ambitions, in Zandvoort.

During the final four of the qualifying session, Oliver Jarvis (Audi), as in free practice, was the fastest (1:31:966). The Briton was more than half a second ahead of his compatriot Gary Paffett (Mercedes, 1:32:548). Bruno Spengler (Mercedes, 1:32:715) ranks third, Mike Rockenfeller fourth (Audi, 1:33:394). Mattias Ekström and Tom Kristensen, despite very good times, stalled mid-session, failing to advance to Q3, and ranked ninth and tenth. Ralf Schumacher, 19th, brings up the rear.
