Joey Hand discovered the BMW M3 DTM

Winner of the GT category in ALMS with BMW Motorsport, Joey Hand took advantage of the tests held in Monteblanco to take the wheel of the future M3 which will compete in the 2012 season against Audi and Mercedes. The American, who was driving a German Championship car for the first time, was very pleasantly surprised by the car's performance.

“It was a great feeling to get behind the wheel of a car of DTM », comments Joey Hand. “It has a lot of downforce and very good carbon brakes. You can really step on the brake pedal without blocking them. With the downforce, the car is glued to the ground during fast corners. You have to know how to use it but I got used to it quite quickly. The tests went very well and I also enjoyed the Monteblanco circuit which is very fun. »
