The young 19-year-old beginner, not content with achieving his first pole position of the year this Saturday, September 4 on the circuit owned by the Austrian energy drink brand, completed a perfect race to sign his second victory in 2021.
The resident of the AF Corse team defended his place against repeated attacks from the Mercedes-AMG of Maximilian Götz in Race 1. He thus returns to the fight for the championship with provisional third place in the Drivers' championship, behind Marco Wittmann (BMW, 7th) and Kelvin van der Linde (Audi, 5th).
The only Frenchman entered, Vincent Abril (Mercedes) finished ninth.
