The organizers of DTM have finally revealed the calendar for the 2018 DTM season which will include an additional round to reach a total of ten meetings. The German Touring Car Championship will notably return to Brands Hatch (Great Britain) on the weekend of August 12 after the discipline went there from 2008 to 2013 using the short Indy configuration, while it will be the circuit complete which will be used this time.
The DTM will, however, travel for the first time to Misano (Italy) on the weekend of August 26 on a track which was resurfaced around ten years ago and which notably welcomes the Moto GP.
The rest of the calendar remains unchanged, the only other novelty being the disappearance of the meeting in Moscow (Russia). The season will begin on the weekend of May 5 at Hockenheim, the same weekend as the 6 Hours of Spa (Belgium) in WEC, which should particularly complicate the task of Augusto Farfus entered in the two Championships with BMW.
